Once you’ve signed up and connected our service, we do everything in the background. No need to remember to write a cheque or deposit your donations. You can even setup donations across a group of different charities, all with one donation limit, and pause or cancel donations across them all in one place.
How it works
You will need to connect and configure our “Donate per kilometre tracked with Strava” IFTTT applet. If you haven’t already you will need to sign up to IFTTT and Make it Donate and connect Make it Donate to IFTTT, but you only ever have to do this once. If you follow the link to the applet you will be taken through the whole sign up process.
Go to the Strava Applet on IFTTT
Click “Connect”
Set the charity you want to donate to and the amount in pence and click “Save”
It is now connected, and will donate per km you travel on Strava.
Your donations will now show up in makeitdonate.com/app/donations.
